Welcome to Lighthearted, a place to be cosy and comfortable talking about FFXIV! We hope to make this place as light-hearted as the name suggests.

Our goal is to foster a safe-space in Materia for NPC and non-NPC roleplayers, as well as people who like art, glam, gpose, and vibing.

We run on Sydney time (AEDT & AEST) but have members from across Australia, Asia, Europe and North America!

Please be understanding of our differences as humans.
Don't harass or pester people.
Don't act entitled to someone's time.
No forceful soliciting of Mare codes.
Don't hit on people / be sexually forward with people you don't know well - consent and trust before everything. If you're close friends and you've established this trust already, do as you like!
Being IC in Roleplay is no excuse to be an asshole, especially to strangers who might not know your schtick. If your character is a villain, make sure to read the room and clarify OOC if any miscommunications arise. Better safe than sorry!

No minors.

Due to the nature of discussions, as much as we'd like this space to be inclusive to everyone, we sadly must exclude minors.
It gets rowdy sometimes! With heavy, mature discussion topics and NSFW jokes flying about we try to ensure minors aren't exposed to this in-game.
That being said try to keep serious explicit content/RP in private chat - don't air it out in public and be tasteful. Jokes are cool. We don't intend on fostering a reputation of being a raunchy R18+ venue.

Approval Requirements
FC Membership Application approval is based on a vouching process by an existing member.
Hang out, become friends, and get to know us and let us know you!
You don't need to be an NPC roleplayer.
You also don't need to be in Sophia to join the community!
Membership Perks
You'll get an invite to the Lighthearted Discord Server, where we share memes, talk about a bucketload of things, admire glams, you name it.
You'll be able to access a huge range of crafting materials and dyes from our FC Chest.
You can exercise your design muscles and add to our awesome venue room list.
You can give input on house design, events, and more.
You can change or add songs to the FC orchestrion playlist. Just be sensible and don't fight with others over the AUX cable!

Fira's GPose style is dreamy, transcendent, and plays with dark and light to create a stunning composition. Her poses are clear and iconic, framing the subject as heroic or mysterious in her photos.

Jay's GPose style is soft, romantic and whimsical, and they have a strength in posing their subjects as if they were protagonists of a shoujo manga. They'll add a touch of nostalgia to your images with their dreamy and light palette.

Prince

Prince's GPose style is catchy, bold and powerful. He likes to dabble with strong contrast and pose characters with a magnetic charisma. If you're looking for a punchy way to picture your WoL, he's the guy for the job.

Cloak

Cloak's GPose style ranges from dark edgy themes to a warm wholesome ones. He practises with custom poses and camera angles to accurately represent the perfect emotion for each character.

#7: Aetherial Sea Lounge

Float in space and confer with the souls of the departed. Questions may be answered, or perhaps you will leave with more than you came with.

#22: Chief Hermes' Office

In an office overlooking Ktisis Hyperboreia, Hermes gathers his cumulative research noting all features and issues to solve of the creatures of Elpis, his research most notably specialising in Cloudkin. Perhaps you'll find him there, or simply the aftershadow of the endlessly busy Chief.
